25 Random Things

I just hate this.  I woke up at the crack of dawn from a great (and very rare) night's sleep, and now my insomnia is keeping me up,  I don't know what to write, so here are some random things about me.

1.  My nails are pale yellow this week.
2.  I change my nail color every week.
3.  I started coloring my hair when I was 27, and have has platinum, blue-black, all shades of brown, highlights, lowlights, lavender, silver with dark purple stripes, auburn, plum, and fire engine red.
4.  I have acute clinical depression, and an bi-polar, which I control through medication, and therapy.
5.  I had a very traumatic childhood (gee, thanks dad), and three traumatic experiences in my twenties.  Suviving these and coming out the other end has made me a very strong, and self-assured woman.
6.  It kills me that my dogs are getting older, as I know they will not be with me forever.  Nabu is middle aged, and Branna and Kassi are a couple of old dames.
7.  I love flannel pajamas!
8.  When Dreas and I move, our new bedroom will be starkly white with one dark pink wall, and the color scheme of pink and green.  The spare bedroom will be shades of purple.  I also have a great tapestry that Dreas and I will frame and hang in the kitchen, which will be red and black, with splashes of orange.
9.  Kassi snores louder than either Dreas, or myself, lol!
10 I'd rather have bamboo shot under my nails than wash dishes, or vacuum.
11. Green is my favorite color, but I am absolutely bonkers about pink.  All in all, I love color, and have more color, than black in my wardrobe (which is incredibly extensive).
12. When reading a romance novel (which is a rarity in itself), wording like "he dipped his throbbing manhood, into her sweet woman's cleft" drive me absolutely mental.  I'd rather have a graphic description of sex, than this drivel.
13. I firmly believe in the Fey, and I collect Faerie statues.  I'm also a huge fan of gorgeous snow globes.
14. I need to get two teeth pulled and then get a bridge - not looking forward to that at all.
15. I drive a 1998 Caribbean blue Ford Ka, names Dolley (after Dolley Madison, the president's wife).
16. I started my first German dlass last night, and loved it!  I can;t wait to learn more.
17. I want Spring to get here already so I can hang laundry on the line outside to dry.
18. The only shoes I can comfortably wear are Birkenstocks, Crocks, or clogs.  Pretty much everything causes my ankles and knees to ache.
19. My favorite animal is a Flamingo.
20. I read too much, so I try in intersperse that with movies and housework, since I am unemployed at the moment.
21. My favorite shower gel is rosemary and lavender from Sprouts in Aurora, Colorado.  It's simply wonderful, and I am almost out of it... Ugh!
22. I love taking a book, or my notebook to a cafe and spend the afternoon drinking tea (and rarely coffee)
23. Insomnia sucks!
24. I have more laundry to do tomorrow, and I need to go to the bank.
25. I want a maid!
