German course, car hunting, and wanting to get the hell out of Lower Austria

I start a German course on the 16th.  I think I've mentioned that before, and that it's about time... I mean, really!

We're looking for a new-used car.  Dreas would like to get the Skoda fixed, but I would prefer that we get a car that I can actually fit in (I have no room for my legs in the Skoda).  This is an exercise in patience for me.... patience not to throttle my husband.  He says he going to call on cars tomorrow, and he will, even if I have to sit on him to get him to finally do it.

Once I have the German course done, I will take an advance course, while I am looking for a job... at this point, any job.  If I could find a job answering phones, that would be great.  I know I can't get an exec admin position, like I had in the States... it's too different here, and I don't know the system.  Being a receptionist is easy for me.

Once I have a few months saved in paychecks, I want to get a job near Innsbruck, or Salzburg, or Upper Austria.  I just need to get away from all the fields down here.  There is nothing but fields and small forests.  I want to live in the mountains, or near a lake.  I seriously need a change.  Of course being married to Anti-Change man, himself, is no easy feat.  He's got an established job here near where we live.  He delivers the mail.  I keep telling him he could deliver the mail in other parts of Austria too.  This will be an uphill battle.

Good luck with that one. Changing an anti change person is hard :) But, you can do it. Persistence pays off :)

I keep saying I'm going to learn Danish to talk to poul so nobody understands us. I really need to do that.

I suggest earning Danish, in case you ever end up living in Denmark.

My next goal after learning German, is learning Dutch. I would love to live in the Netherlands.

Love you.
